[The Justin Bieber Show]

Saw on portal, thought: "Sounds like HH would do"

(Yeah, I had to save space in the description) I saw this listed on the portal on the main page and thought: "This sounds like something Oney or Harry Partridge would do". Hey, I was right.

But it wasn't really funny this time.

There's so much you could have done. He's always uploading those douchey videos of himself, you know? But you just had to go waaaaay out into left-field again, didn't you? It made no sense at all, had nothing really to do with Bieber, and just wasn't funny. In fact, I'm dropping another point. There. No offense dude. I'm just really surprised by the lack of effort coming from the usually-outstanding Harry Partridge, lately.

Yeah, there's that sound thing...

You have to fix that sound-overlapping problem. I used to screw that up too. The process is well thought-out, but the quality of the finished product was really sloppy. I think you should make a better gun and resubmit this with the Actionscript corrections.

It was an experience

The background art was amazing in some places. The fan in the maternity room was extremely well-done. In fact, the entire Exorcist (or whatever) joke was mostly great. I love how the mother was fine, just reading a magazine.

Then things went down-hill.

I don't think much of the narrator's voice, either. Also, why is he alive to give the narration if he already had gray hair in 1958? I thought most of the jokes fell-flat, and that made it even more offensive when you portrayed Mays as a child-sex ring operator and retard (it wouldn't be *AS* bad if it were funny). Mays seemed like a nice guy and that just seemed wrong on multiple levels. Ultimately, I took points off for most of the video just not being funny. Sorry, dude. Just work on it a little more. You could still have something with this.

Eh, the doctor's gray hair? Let's just say he's seen some shit man, but has lived to tell the tale. Much like Anderson Cooper. And as far as the offensive points, we were mainly attempting to say that Mays was so caught up in selling that other people just didn't get him. Which was why his teachers failed him, but that same thing has happened to many geniuses across the board. Einstein failed math as a youth for example. But still, despite the intent of the joke, it seemed to come across differently so that's something to look at. But yea, there are plenty of things to work on for the next one, and obviously figuring out how to better utilize our voice actors is priority number one. Thanks for the review.

That was disturbing. Why couldn't he have just woken up to discover he had sex with the chocolate bunny? That would've been funny.

Huh...

That actually was the best one. Good job. Still kind of nerdy in my opinion, but the dialog b/w Mastermind and his henchmen has been greatly improved (even if it isn't any more extended). The plot-centric jokes were pretty funny. The trapdoor going to the cafeteria and quick one-liners for pizza and meatloaf were great stuff. Good ending, too.

I have renewed respect for your writing and voice-acting (again though, Mastermind still sounds a little nerdy in his dialog).

I didn't think I'd like this, but I did!

Video-Game parodies usually suck as a rule. This one was kickass. Excellent job. Good voice-acting, good-enough script, great concept. Things got stupid after Sonic & Knuckles (I actually liked some of Sonic Adventure though, stupid as it was. Even SA2 had its moments.).

Why does so much "Conservative" art suck?

Okay, complaints:

- Voice acting was as cliched as every other entry in the genre: The gravelly, pissed-off soldier voice and the lesbian-hentai porno voice (which was more irritating and one-dimensional than sexy).

- Dialog sucked. It was either monotonous and tedious or sophomoric every moment. ATTENTION ALL ANIMATORS: GRAVELLY-VOICED CURSING IS NOT EDGY, IT'S CLICHED AND LAME--IT'S N-E-R-D-Y! STOP DOING IT! Save cursing for surprised moments and conservatively-applied comedic effect.

- I hate game parodies, but all the ones you used this time were actually kind of funny.

- I didn't find a damn thing funny about the audience full of tankmen. It reminded me of that retarded scene in "Mastermind [something]" where his cronies kept shouting "BALLS!"

- Weirdly, Clinton's the least of our problems, but I appreciate the hate.

I love these characters. The voice work is exceptional. I'd say present this to Adult Swim or something, but I think they'd make you overstretch the story (and we just had to get rid of the cable), which works best as short one-shots.

Bravo, again.

[Operation: Graveyard]

Wow.

That was the crispest flash animation I've seen on my computer in a LONG time. Not only did it not hang once, but the animation was truly outstanding for a Flash submission. I'm a little confused why you suddenly decided at the end to make fun of the plot you seemed to be taking so seriously up to that point. I purposefully ignored most of the words that came up because I thought that *I* was supposed to be taking it seriously, while it was in fact, in typical Pico fashion, just more violent pop-culture satire.

Anyway, it was great and I hope to see more videos of this artistic quality in the future.
