A black waitress told her manager I was a racist%uFEFF and had me thrown out of a restaurant w/o explanation. My friend, who was in the john and ask about me when he came back, told me she thought I asked for a "white server".

They had just reupholstered the booths, which were very soft. I asked for a "life preserver". I'd been joking with the waitress for five minutes prior to the joke--even mentioned the seats. I think I was entitled to the benefit of a doubt.
